When were you saved and baptized?
March 21, 2010 - We never were strong Christian believers. In our upbringing, religion was secondary. Patriotism and the Constitution were first. As we grew older and hopefully wiser, we realized there had to be something higher; so we began searching. Brother Ray Ortiz and another member of the church came by our house and invited us to church. I (James) attended church alone the first time, and Gerlinde came the following week. We are now saved, baptized members of NVBC.
What does our church mean to you?
NVBC gives us a needed opportunity to re-evaluate our beliefs. The church helps us to set aside the bitter and corrupting side of human nature and look outside of ourselves to something better.
