Our time is short. The task is great. As, Christians, we must seek to do more for God than we have ever done before, especially as we see the day of His imminent return approaching so quickly.
The year of 2008 has already been an unbelievable year of blessing and ministry at the North Valley Baptist Church. We have seen record attendances, scores of souls saved and baptized every week, and Christians growing in grace and serving their Lord through the ministry of this local church like never before. As we kicked off the new year, Pastor Trieber challenged the church with a theme of So Much the More from Hebrews 10:25. He encouraged every member to do more in their personal walk and public ministry than they had done before. We can truly say that we have seen our people doing "so much the more" and we have seen God bless "so much the more."
At this year's conference, it is our desire to see every delegate challenged and encouraged to do "so much the more" with their lives and ministries if God tarries in His coming. We want to see every life used and blessed in a special way by God. We believe that He is coming back soon, and we must seek to do all that we can for His kingdom while we have opportunity.
For the past twenty-three years, thousands of pastors, Christian workers, and godly church members have traveled from across the United States and around the world to Northern California every September. Each year, this army of laborers has been challenged, convicted, encouraged, instructed, and inspired by the preaching and teaching at the National Pastors' & Workers' Conference. They have reported back to us that their churches have been greatly helped and strengthened because of the work of God that took place while they were with us in Santa Clara. We believe that God is going to do "so much the more" at this year's meeting.
Whether you have been to every one of these conferences or have never visited this ministry before, you will not want to miss this year's meeting! It will be our honor and privilege to serve you as you serve the King of kings. Please plan to join us this year!
